I want BIG hair!

Hi all!

Hope the weekend was a goodern for you all and you enjoyed the sun that was around in the Kent area. Was a glorious Sunday!

Do you think bigger is better? I have always lusted over people with lovely full, bouncy hair. So I purchased this combo from Feel Unique hoping for that exact effect.

What is my hair like: My hair is thin and long, but I have lots of it so it gives the illusion that its thick. If I'm not careful it can look quite limp and flat if I just leave it without doing anything. I have tried countless products that have left my hair sticky, clumpy and greasy and was desperate for something to work with a more natural feel.

I have been using this product for a year now and this is my second lot because I loved it so much. It's quite a rich formula and if I use it too often it can be too heavy for my hair and it becomes greasy quickly and doesn't have a very nice bouncy effect. I'm into a routine of using this on a Sunday/Monday and then on a Thursday/Friday (all depending on what my plans are). When I haven't got any social plans it stays in the bathroom cupboard until the following week so it feels like a treat!

When in the shower it foams up amazingly and a little definitely goes along way. The smell is nice and refreshing and is a joy to use. It does take a while to wash out as the formula is so thick so prepare for arm ache.

Once out of the shower I blow dry my hair upside down to help with my lack of volume problem. I have however found that I can blow dry my hair upright after having used this combo. I have found it even better if I pull the hair up and away from the root. When it's completely dry it feels so luxurious, just like when you come out of the hairdressers! It's lovely and silky smooth however feels thick bouncy and helps give you a natural looking boost.

What do you use to get a bit of volume in your hair? Shampoo and conditioner?  Or special root boosting products? I would love to know.

Much love,
xoxo

  1. I have a lot of and long hair so it's hard for me to gain volume as well, for now I'm satisfied relying on dry shampoo but this sounds pretty good!

For The Love Of Cucumbers and Skincare

AD with Yes To Good morning and happy National Cucumber Day! I love cucumbers! There, I said it. I like to eat them, drink them in juices and smoothies, and even like them in my skincare routine. Over the last couple of months I've really struggled with my skin. Getting hard lumps under the skin, and rash like breakouts that were super persistent and refused to die down. I thought about whether or not I was using too many different products and clogging up my skin, or it was just down to stress or something. All I knew was that I had to give something a go and hope for it to work it's magic on my problem skin as it was getting me down. What a day to share my love of cucumbers and my love of the  Yes To Cucumber  range with you cuties. Make yourself a cheese (vegan cheese if you're like myself) and cucumber sandwich and take a read about a range you'll want try!  It may shock you to see an entire range made with cucumbers, but it's actually a

*This post features an advertorial with P'URE Papaya Lips Hi, hey, how are ya? It's been a while I know, and I'm sorry. I needed some time to settle into freelance life (which, I'm loving btw), and just some time to get into the new swing of things you know.  So anyway, that can be saved and chucked into a separate blog post (let me know if you fancy that).  Over on Instagram I've been sharing the odd product here and there over the last few months regarding skincare, as my skin went super dry as soon as the seasons and weather changed. My skin was flaking it was that dry, and my lips were red raw and went without lipstick as I couldn't bare to put anything on them at all. Thankfully I ended up creating a nice little routine....more on that in a bit, and found some new must haves for hydrating and softening the skin and lips.  Lets start from the bottom to the top ey? I like being awkward! And, before we get stuck in, these are all products

Cruelty Free Living Products And Where To Find Them

A super sunny good day to you beauties!  Welcome to my first of many cruelty free living posts I've wanted to do for such a long time now, and I've finally planned them and can't wait to hopefully inspire some of you to make a simple change to support the unfair testing and use of animals. The most common thing I hear back from people is "it's going to be expensive" or "that's so much effort", well it's actually not and the only effort you need to put in is to just pick up a different bottle *holds head in hands. It's that simple.  Over the last two years I've been gradually replacing items in my home with cruelty free alternatives to get to the point I'm at today. The majority of you guys like me, go to one store for the bulk of your weekly/monthly shop, however I've grown to enjoy searching for cruelty free products and options so am now a bit of a shop hopper.  When I think of the places I like to hit up th
