Baby it's cold outside

I can't keep track oh how much I am moaning that I'm cold, I know Ive mentioned it in a couple of previous posts but seriously.....I am feeling the cold. On the 1st December I took my scarf on an outing, first time of the year! I had forgotten how much comfort a scarf can bring you when you're feeling a slight chill in the air. However much I love my red and white hand knitted scarf, I feel some new winter accessories could be in order. Because baby....its cold outside.

Boohoo holly christmas pudding beanie hat - £8.00- I don't think I need to explain why I love this?

ASOS christmas pug mittens - £8.00- I love these for myself but also for my nan who is a huge pug fan. Fun, cute and will keep your hands warm. I prefer mittens to gloves as I think they look more girlie.

Cos woven wool scarf - £49.00- The most gorgeous colour I have ever seen for a scarf, a colour like this I would never normally want to wear at this time of year as it can give a coldness about an outfit. However saying this I saw Anna at Vivianna does makeup wear it and looked great with her jacket!

River Island limited edition cream block faux fur tippet- £25- A few weeks ago I spotted this in store and fell head over heels. Being a huge fan of faux fur anyway I tend to get drawn to these but this one is just so cool. Having different coloured blocks of fur makes it interesting and a bit different to the normal ones you can get.

New look dark green blanket cape- £19.99- Love this cape for ages now and still haven't bought it. You would need to layer this up a lot to justify wearing an open cape at this time of year, but thats fine with me. As well as wearing it outside I think that this could be a lovely throw over whilst sitting on the sofa.

Amelia Jane London racoon fur pom pom hat- £28.00- Its probably silly for me to follow this lovely brand on Instagram but their furry items are just so lovely. They do this hat in so many different pretty colours but my love for mustard grew even more when I saw this on their website. Handy for this time of year, lovely colour and check out the fluffy pom pom!

Missguided faux fur collar- £12.99- Bottle green is a gorgeous colour and so this season. Thought that if you didn't want to go too different with the block RI one then this green would give an outfit a little bit of glamour and interest.

These have been a small group of loves I have spotted over the last week or so. A few are seasonal yes, but who can say their not a sucker for a pug in a christmas hat!?

Hope you enjoyed this wintery post, beauty is back on Friday!

xoxo

For The Love Of Cucumbers and Skincare

AD with Yes To Good morning and happy National Cucumber Day! I love cucumbers! There, I said it. I like to eat them, drink them in juices and smoothies, and even like them in my skincare routine. Over the last couple of months I've really struggled with my skin. Getting hard lumps under the skin, and rash like breakouts that were super persistent and refused to die down. I thought about whether or not I was using too many different products and clogging up my skin, or it was just down to stress or something. All I knew was that I had to give something a go and hope for it to work it's magic on my problem skin as it was getting me down. What a day to share my love of cucumbers and my love of the  Yes To Cucumber  range with you cuties. Make yourself a cheese (vegan cheese if you're like myself) and cucumber sandwich and take a read about a range you'll want try!  It may shock you to see an entire range made with cucumbers, but it's actually a

How To Read More & What I Read In May

*gifted items and affiliate links Hi mates, it's been a while!  So, I've had quite a few requests to create a blog post all about how I read so much. Don't get me wrong there are loads of people out there that read way more than me. But I average 4 books a month, however with lockdown in the UK I've been able to rack up my monthly average.  Let's just jump straight in to how I read as much as I do. 1 ~ Choose books you WANT to read This sounds super obvious, however I myself have been known to follow book trends and pick up a book because it's all over the gram, or because my favourite influencer has told me to read it. Doing so can result in books you just don't get in the flow of reading and books you don't want to actively pick up.  Know what genres you like to read. Know what authors you like and do some digging to make sure you pick wisely. Sometimes you will be disappointed with a book that you feel you should of enjoye

Easy To Make Zero Waste Coffee Body Scrub

I'm back on this blogging hype and I'm feeling super inspired to get my space of the internet up and running again. Basically I thought I knew what I was doing in the back end of my blog (theme, settings etc) and for a few months I couldn't do anything until my friends life saver boyfriend sorted it for me! So, lets jump into a cosmetic, zero waste body care at home post and something I'm loving using in my daily shower routine.  It doesn't cost the earth, makes your skin ultra soft, and all you need are things from the kitchen cupboard.   I don't know if you've seen the companies selling coffee scrub or very similar products for around £6 and up, so making something like this thats fresh and uses up a waste bi-product and cupboard essentials means you're saving money as well as saving the purchase of a product!  Items I use in my homemade body scrub: * Coffee Grounds * Coconut Sugar 4tbp * Vanilla Extract 3tsp First things first, the co
