A little Barry M haul

Pink Punch, Cotton, Prickly Pear, Matte Top Coat, Black
Back in the day I was always buying Barry M polishes as they were affordable and pretty good for the price. Recently I've noticed Barry M here there and everywhere, adverts, Instagram, Blogs and so on and thought I'd give a couple of their special ranges a go.

Gelly High Shine- A nice thick consistency which makes the coverage great and only requires two coats. High shine and doesn't seem to chip much which is great for someone like me who types a lot. The only thing I'm not so keen on is the brush as its quite thin and is a little awkward to get the bottom of the nail straight.

Matte Top Coat- This does exactly what it says. I went for the top coat as I didn't like the thought of restricting the shades I chose to just matte. Its gives such a different effect to your nails with the Matte effect and prefer for a night out along with the black!! Looks awesome.

Original- I was a little gutted I couldn't find a Gelly High Shine in black so had to go for the original formula. I find it a little harder to work with compared to the Gelly formula however still gives great coverage and only two coats required.

All in all my love for Barry M polishes is certainly back and am loving all of these colours I've recently purchased. Next I want to get my hands on the fast drying ones!!!

Happy Friday, what Barry M polish is your favourite?

xoxo

For The Love Of Cucumbers and Skincare

AD with Yes To Good morning and happy National Cucumber Day! I love cucumbers! There, I said it. I like to eat them, drink them in juices and smoothies, and even like them in my skincare routine. Over the last couple of months I've really struggled with my skin. Getting hard lumps under the skin, and rash like breakouts that were super persistent and refused to die down. I thought about whether or not I was using too many different products and clogging up my skin, or it was just down to stress or something. All I knew was that I had to give something a go and hope for it to work it's magic on my problem skin as it was getting me down. What a day to share my love of cucumbers and my love of the  Yes To Cucumber  range with you cuties. Make yourself a cheese (vegan cheese if you're like myself) and cucumber sandwich and take a read about a range you'll want try!  It may shock you to see an entire range made with cucumbers, but it's actually a

How To Read More & What I Read In May

*gifted items and affiliate links Hi mates, it's been a while!  So, I've had quite a few requests to create a blog post all about how I read so much. Don't get me wrong there are loads of people out there that read way more than me. But I average 4 books a month, however with lockdown in the UK I've been able to rack up my monthly average.  Let's just jump straight in to how I read as much as I do. 1 ~ Choose books you WANT to read This sounds super obvious, however I myself have been known to follow book trends and pick up a book because it's all over the gram, or because my favourite influencer has told me to read it. Doing so can result in books you just don't get in the flow of reading and books you don't want to actively pick up.  Know what genres you like to read. Know what authors you like and do some digging to make sure you pick wisely. Sometimes you will be disappointed with a book that you feel you should of enjoye

Current Cruelty Free Skincare & Lip care Gang | AD

*This post features an advertorial with P'URE Papaya Lips Hi, hey, how are ya? It's been a while I know, and I'm sorry. I needed some time to settle into freelance life (which, I'm loving btw), and just some time to get into the new swing of things you know.  So anyway, that can be saved and chucked into a separate blog post (let me know if you fancy that).  Over on Instagram I've been sharing the odd product here and there over the last few months regarding skincare, as my skin went super dry as soon as the seasons and weather changed. My skin was flaking it was that dry, and my lips were red raw and went without lipstick as I couldn't bare to put anything on them at all. Thankfully I ended up creating a nice little routine....more on that in a bit, and found some new must haves for hydrating and softening the skin and lips.  Lets start from the bottom to the top ey? I like being awkward! And, before we get stuck in, these are all products
