Three from Lush

Having recently suffered one of the worst allergic reactions to medication I'd ever experienced, I had to lay off the scented products for a week or so. This made me really miss my lush bath and shower times and as soon as I could use them again, my love affair rekindled. These three are just a few of the products I came home with after the Lush winter event that I started using again just the other day and knew these had to be my top three that I share my thoughts on.

American Cream is a hair conditioner which my hair certainly thanked me for after just one use. I've said this numerous times now, my hairs not in the best condition and after a long time of continuous highlights its pretty dry. The smell reminds me of those hard boiled sweets that have pink and white swirls on as it's a gorgeous strawberries and cream scent. If like me, you can suffer with occasional flakes, then you should give this a try as the sage and lavender help to soothe and calm the scalp.

Santas Belly is so pretty, I didn't want to use it and disturb the nice flat top. Containing ingredients such as; star anise infusion, orange, apple, bergamot and vegan red wine the scent isn't my favourite, but is nice enough for me to enjoy using the product. The jelly is so super soft on the skin and the scent surprisingly hangs around well after you hop out of your shower. It lathers up well and a little sparkle certainly goes a long way.

Spearmint polos were a daily purchase on my walk to secondary school and that memory flashes back whenever I take a whiff of this minty delight. Christingle caught my attention purely from its good looks as I find I'm drawn to anything of this colour. Being a body conditioner it works exactly the same as what a hair conditioner is used for, but for skin. I enjoy using this on a Saturday or Sunday morning to wake me up and prepare me for the day. Simply apply to the skin after your normal wash and then rinse off to reveal a well conditioned and smooth body, that's minty fresh.

Have you tried any of my three from Lush? Have I tempted you to go and try any?
xoxo

For The Love Of Cucumbers and Skincare

AD with Yes To Good morning and happy National Cucumber Day! I love cucumbers! There, I said it. I like to eat them, drink them in juices and smoothies, and even like them in my skincare routine. Over the last couple of months I've really struggled with my skin. Getting hard lumps under the skin, and rash like breakouts that were super persistent and refused to die down. I thought about whether or not I was using too many different products and clogging up my skin, or it was just down to stress or something. All I knew was that I had to give something a go and hope for it to work it's magic on my problem skin as it was getting me down. What a day to share my love of cucumbers and my love of the  Yes To Cucumber  range with you cuties. Make yourself a cheese (vegan cheese if you're like myself) and cucumber sandwich and take a read about a range you'll want try!  It may shock you to see an entire range made with cucumbers, but it's actually a

*This post features an advertorial with P'URE Papaya Lips Hi, hey, how are ya? It's been a while I know, and I'm sorry. I needed some time to settle into freelance life (which, I'm loving btw), and just some time to get into the new swing of things you know.  So anyway, that can be saved and chucked into a separate blog post (let me know if you fancy that).  Over on Instagram I've been sharing the odd product here and there over the last few months regarding skincare, as my skin went super dry as soon as the seasons and weather changed. My skin was flaking it was that dry, and my lips were red raw and went without lipstick as I couldn't bare to put anything on them at all. Thankfully I ended up creating a nice little routine....more on that in a bit, and found some new must haves for hydrating and softening the skin and lips.  Lets start from the bottom to the top ey? I like being awkward! And, before we get stuck in, these are all products

Cruelty Free Living Products And Where To Find Them

A super sunny good day to you beauties!  Welcome to my first of many cruelty free living posts I've wanted to do for such a long time now, and I've finally planned them and can't wait to hopefully inspire some of you to make a simple change to support the unfair testing and use of animals. The most common thing I hear back from people is "it's going to be expensive" or "that's so much effort", well it's actually not and the only effort you need to put in is to just pick up a different bottle *holds head in hands. It's that simple.  Over the last two years I've been gradually replacing items in my home with cruelty free alternatives to get to the point I'm at today. The majority of you guys like me, go to one store for the bulk of your weekly/monthly shop, however I've grown to enjoy searching for cruelty free products and options so am now a bit of a shop hopper.  When I think of the places I like to hit up th
