You should go to Specsavers | Max & Co

A great pair of glasses can really add so much to your outfit. Such a great accessory that I find can actually compliment a make up look, instead of covering it up. Some girls I've spoken to about glasses and how they feel wearing them have said that they'd never dream of wearing them on a night out or at an occasion. I'm definitely the opposite end. I love to wear my glasses out, kind of like my alter ego.

I've gone to Specsavers my whole life and have only ever got my eyes tested and bought glasses from them, so when Specsavers asked if I wanted to get some new frames and share my choice with you I jumped at the chance.

After trying on pair after pair I started going back to these Max and Co frames. Something a little different to any others I own. I love the way they slightly flick on the outer edges and the legs are a lovely baby pink, almost pearlescent effect that makes the black stand out. Of course the quality is spot on and feel very sturdy and comes in a good…

Skincare: The one with the clay mask

Those times when your skin's crying out for some TLC, I like to mix up my skincare routine to try and accommodate its needs. This particular day my skin was tired, dull and felt like blemishes were brewing ready to unleash themselves. With this in mind I pulled out my ultimate favourites for those key things my skin needed help with.
My evening cleanser won't change until someone lets me in on something that's better than the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel. It does what you need it to do, but does it in a way thats calming yet invigorating, and really does seem to help with regard to dull looking skin. Having combination skin and a very oily T-Zone the cleansing gel also helps to even out my skin and the dry sections are becoming more normal than flakey dry.
I like to use a deep cleansing mask on a Sunday and Wednesday. Today is a Sunday, and I went for the Super Facialist Pore Purifying Clay Mask as my lady time is up and knowing my body I was waiting for the moment when …

December reds for all your party occasions

Its standard to sport a red lip during the month of December to turn an average make up look, into a festive beaut. I've got quite a large collection of reds as its just classic and you can't go wrong, but these are my go to for the range of occasions the party seasons throws at you.

Popping into town red: I don't know about you but this year I'm quite behind with my Christmas shopping and popping into town every now and again is becoming a frequent occurrence. Because of this I need something thats quick and even something I can pop on in my car mirror or as I'm walking to grab a coffee. For this I head for the Revlon balm stain in Rendezvous. So easy to apply and gives a lovely red sheen to the lips.

Social gathering red: Whether it be for a coffee or for one or two drinks with friends, I always go for something with a bit of pop and something that will stick around whilst sipping on a continuous string of decaf almond lattes. Beet from MAC is one that I love to w…

The Aldi cream I've added to my skincare routine

A bright sunny Sunday morning, 10:05am exactly I turned up at my local Aldi to a que of cars having to fight for a parking space (which is never normally the case). My friend at work had mentioned about Aldis Lacura caviar cream which was being compared to La Prairie which is sold in places like Harrods for £292 for 50ml! Us knowing Aldi it wasn't going to be near that price, and instead was asking for prices around the £7.99 mark. So, back to me setting the scene. By the time I got into Aldi all of the locals had gotten in and had all of the evening creams so I was left stretching over a crowd to get to the left overs. I managed a day cream, peel and intensive sets. This meant that my local Aldi sold out of all of their caviar products in about 15 minutes flat (but don't worry as they are back in stores on 17th December).

I've been using these products for weeks now and I'm happy to have tried them out but without trying out the expensive one, I can't really compa…

Batiste to the rescue! Just in time for party season

Washing my hair is a chore that I'm most definitely not a fan of and would rather put it off until my hair is super greasy. I like to wash it every three days but depending on going to the gym or evening commitments it can vary. Dry shampoo has always been a staple for me because of how lazy I am with washing my hair and can act as a styling product at the same time, and Batiste is a brand that I've used for years.

As you can see there a vast range (which not all have been included here) and you might be wondering 'What one should you use?'. Well, your standard dry shampoo that comes with different scents (floral, blush ,cherry and bloom) which  come out white and our able to dry out and sign of grease and get your hair looking fresh. I must admit, it took me a little while to get used to the distance to hold the can from your head to prevent turning into a grey haired granny. When you have the nack all is good and you'll end up relying on having a can at home.

Batis…
