You should go to Specsavers | Max & Co

A great pair of glasses can really add so much to your outfit. Such a great accessory that I find can actually compliment a make up look, instead of covering it up. Some girls I've spoken to about glasses and how they feel wearing them have said that they'd never dream of wearing them on a night out or at an occasion. I'm definitely the opposite end. I love to wear my glasses out, kind of like my alter ego.

I've gone to Specsavers my whole life and have only ever got my eyes tested and bought glasses from them, so when Specsavers asked if I wanted to get some new frames and share my choice with you I jumped at the chance.

After trying on pair after pair I started going back to these Max and Co frames. Something a little different to any others I own. I love the way they slightly flick on the outer edges and the legs are a lovely baby pink, almost pearlescent effect that makes the black stand out. Of course the quality is spot on and feel very sturdy and comes in a good, hard wearing case. Not to mention the lovely Ferne McCann had these on in the jungle! (She most definitely copied me) hehe.

I was always used to getting my face and frames measured by putting on countless pairs of those strange frames and the assistant measuring across my face. Now things are a little different. You pop on the frames you've chosen and they take a picture of you on an iPad and it does it all for you! It's so clever. The man was so nice and even when I asked to take a picture of the iPad he showed no judgement regarding my strange request and just said 'of course no problem'. Such lovely people in Specsavers as always and are so helpful with anything.

Do you wear glasses? Do you own these frames yourself? I totally recommend Specsavers as their range is so large.

Happy Christmas Eve Eve
xoxo

For The Love Of Cucumbers and Skincare

AD with Yes To Good morning and happy National Cucumber Day! I love cucumbers! There, I said it. I like to eat them, drink them in juices and smoothies, and even like them in my skincare routine. Over the last couple of months I've really struggled with my skin. Getting hard lumps under the skin, and rash like breakouts that were super persistent and refused to die down. I thought about whether or not I was using too many different products and clogging up my skin, or it was just down to stress or something. All I knew was that I had to give something a go and hope for it to work it's magic on my problem skin as it was getting me down. What a day to share my love of cucumbers and my love of the  Yes To Cucumber  range with you cuties. Make yourself a cheese (vegan cheese if you're like myself) and cucumber sandwich and take a read about a range you'll want try!  It may shock you to see an entire range made with cucumbers, but it's actually a

Current Cruelty Free Skincare & Lip care Gang | AD

*This post features an advertorial with P'URE Papaya Lips Hi, hey, how are ya? It's been a while I know, and I'm sorry. I needed some time to settle into freelance life (which, I'm loving btw), and just some time to get into the new swing of things you know.  So anyway, that can be saved and chucked into a separate blog post (let me know if you fancy that).  Over on Instagram I've been sharing the odd product here and there over the last few months regarding skincare, as my skin went super dry as soon as the seasons and weather changed. My skin was flaking it was that dry, and my lips were red raw and went without lipstick as I couldn't bare to put anything on them at all. Thankfully I ended up creating a nice little routine....more on that in a bit, and found some new must haves for hydrating and softening the skin and lips.  Lets start from the bottom to the top ey? I like being awkward! And, before we get stuck in, these are all products

Cruelty Free Living Products And Where To Find Them

A super sunny good day to you beauties!  Welcome to my first of many cruelty free living posts I've wanted to do for such a long time now, and I've finally planned them and can't wait to hopefully inspire some of you to make a simple change to support the unfair testing and use of animals. The most common thing I hear back from people is "it's going to be expensive" or "that's so much effort", well it's actually not and the only effort you need to put in is to just pick up a different bottle *holds head in hands. It's that simple.  Over the last two years I've been gradually replacing items in my home with cruelty free alternatives to get to the point I'm at today. The majority of you guys like me, go to one store for the bulk of your weekly/monthly shop, however I've grown to enjoy searching for cruelty free products and options so am now a bit of a shop hopper.  When I think of the places I like to hit up th
